Hey there, my name is Cameron and I’m the owner of The Architractor.
Before I share my background with you, let me explain the meaning behind my business name.
An “Architractor” is a design and build professional who uses their expertise in structural form and functional building to provide clients with the highest level of trust. There is an elevated level of trust as it’s just one professional that is taking care of both the drawing and building process.
Architectural Technologist + Carpenter/Contractor = An Architractor
As an Architractor, I’m your one-stop-shop for design, drawings, permits, fine carpentry and contractor services. You only have to deal with one guy for your entire project— this is what I’m passionate and excited about providing for my clients.

Cameron holds two formal college diplomas from Loyalist College, Belleville, ON, in the construction industry:
2018- Construction and Renovation Diploma, 2-year program, Dean’s List
2022- Architectural Technologist Advanced Diploma, 3-year program, Dean’s List

The Journey:
In 2017, Cameron started working as a carpenter with a framing company while working on his first diploma program at Loyalist College. After he graduated from the Carpentry and Renovation program, he started working for a general contractor where he gained valuable experience in all areas of carpentry, including but not limited to luxury custom renovations and new builds.
After 3 years of working full-time as a carpenter, Cameron was accepted into the Architectural Technologist program at Loyalist College. During his studies, Cameron continued to work as a carpenter to continue gaining experience and perfecting his skills. After his second college graduation, he started his own business, “The Architractor”.
Since starting his business, Cameron has completed a wide variety of projects for clients including but not limited to: decks, fences, bathroom renovation, custom cabinetry, flooring, additions, tile work, sheds, finish basements, fine art substrates and floater frames. He has also submitted many drawings clients and other builders, always successfully obtaining the permit and go-ahead for their projects!

Along with his formal college diplomas, he holds a BCIN Design License which allows him to complete drawings and submit for permits on behalf of his clients.

meet caitlyn
Caitlyn is my life + business partner.
Firstly, she is in charge of marketing and website design for our business. You may meet her at consultations or see her on the job site as my building assistant.
Caitlyn is also a professional artist and works closely with me to serve other artists with fine art substrates and frames that I build.
Fun Facts about us

Cameron is a certified Fitness Instructor at Goodlife. He teaches three programs including BodyPUMP, BodyATTACK and BodyCOMBAT!
Caitlyn is a Registered Nurse and mainly works with moms and babies!

As a couple, we first found our bond through yoga + fitness, and later on started doing acro yoga together!
We also love backpack hiking and have hiked trails all over Ontario. Our dream is to do backpack hiking one day in the mountains on the west coast of Canada!

In case you’re wondering, we’re cat people!
We have two beautiful cats named Malkin (12 years old) and Willow (1 year old).
We find so much love and joy in our days with them and simply couldn’t imagine life without them.
